General GMAT Questions and Strategies | Re: would you pick up the books again/re-take if you were me?

I would love feedback on my situation. I've read some related threads but would love to hear feedback given the context of my situation overall. I am trying to decide whether I am ready to apply, or if I need to re-take the GMAT to be competitive at topschools.

First diagnostic (Manhattan):

90th percentile verbal

9th - yes NINTH - percentile in quant

I studied and studied for months, and was miserable and filled with anxiety, and finally took an officialGMAT.
