D doesn't impact the argument at all. Even if they had other items that had Penicillium in it, the Atlantis people consumed meat and vegetables which surely had Penicillium . So we basically got back to the same statement from the premise, i.e. stored fresh meat and vegetables during the Atlantean era, were found to be richly populated with the Penicillium fungi.
D doesnt add any value to the argument.
