A - is correct.
Viewing violence on TV contributes to violence in real life for several reasons. For example, on television violence is not so shocking and seems more acceptable - even familiar and normal. Dulls the sensitivity of people, so their reaction to violence is also blunted. Also, due to the viewing of violent scenes on television, viewers get the idea that the world is full of people threatening their well-being.
