I took 7:30 minutes to read the passage and another 8 minutes to solve the questions.

I got Q5 wrong. Could anyone please justify why is Option A incorrect and Option E correct?

I need to work on vocabulary & time but still I'd appreciate if anyone can justify correct answer choice for Q5.
