PS Archive | 2n players, player 1 played 2n-1 games,...

Each player will play once with every other players. Player 1 has played 2n-1 games, player 2 played 2n-2 games,...player 2n-1 played 1 game. How many games did player 2n play? I know the answer is n, and I understand why it is n, but how can you explain it in a mathematical way ( with equations)?
