Yes, you will be provided a marker and a pad to do the rough work but I don't think they are at all inconvient.
If you feel you would feel a bit odd while using the pad and the marker, I would prefer you to buy the same online and start doing your practice on it so that you can get comfortable before you hit your actual exam.
