Option A should be the same as in Question?
In Question: have found that the Neanderthal DNA was more similar to human DNA than chimp DNA.
in Option: have found that the Neanderthal DNA was more similar to human than chimp DNA

Removed DNA after human. I just got confused with this option. But anyways D is spot on. Thank you.
