The only difference between A and E is that A describes the conclusion as an assumption. Assumptions are necessary parts of the argument that have NOT been stated, so nothing in the argument will ever be an assumption. The only way that might be the answer would be if the author explicitly made it clear that their conclusion would be true ONLY IF this other piece were true.
