There's one thing nobody seems to have mentioned here: "were evolved" is thepassive voice. That carries a different connotation than the active voice, and ideally there should be a "by[agent] " elsewhere in the sentence. This passive verb also does not match the active verb "developed," so that difference could be considered a lack of parallelism. The best wording would be "from which evolved," but that is not a choice. I think this is a poor question
